1951 US Open at Oakland Hills CC Official Program - Ben Hogan Winner

This is one of the more desirable golf programs because of the historical nature of this particular US Open. Ben Hogan captured his 3rd US Open in 1951 at Oakland Hills, marking it 3 US Open victories in a row for Ben since he did not play the Open in 1949 due to the car accident. This colorful program was purchased at the tournament and the owner kept it in excellent condition as can be seen in the photographs. The “monster” was tamed by Bantam Ben but Robert Trent Jones’ redesign at Oakland Hills proved a worthy adversary for every player including the small Texan who finished +1.
