1951 Sam Snead Wheaties Series No. 85 Unused Flat Cereal Box w/ Card Panel - Rare
This is an original, unused 1951 Wheaties single-serving cereal box flat (net weight 1 oz.) from Series No. 85 C-C, manufactured by General Mills, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The flat remains in its unassembled, unfolded state as it would have come from the factory.
The back panel features a printed blue-and-white portrait of Sam Snead wearing a hat, accompanied by a facsimile signature and the text Famous Golf Champion and Champions Choose Wheaties!.
The main front panel displays the diagonal blue Wheaties logo, the Breakfast of Champions slogan, and an illustration of a tennis player in motion holding a racket. The reverse side of the cardboard is blank and unprinted. Investment grade condition on this seldom seen full panel.
