1945 Spalding Robert T. Jones Jr. Hall of Fame Series Advertisement - Excellent Condition
This lot features a Spalding advertisement from 1945 in excellent condition. The piece measures 27 1/2" x 20" and depicts Bobby Jones tying putt at the 1929 US Open at Winged Foot Golf Club. Also listed are some of Jones' great golf accomplishments. Jones was a 13 time major champ and the co-founder of Augusta National and the Masters Tournament. This advertising piece was part of a series of 6 promotional posters for Spalding and is in incredible condition. Please see photos for reference.
