1942 Ben Hogan 'Long Drives Down The Fairway' Sport Mart MacGregor Club Advertising Brochure - Rare
Dating this book with the mention of 'MagGregor: Manufacturers of quality golf clubs for 44 years...Since 1898" features Ben Hogan on both the cover and dissects his swing inside over 14 frames. States including his wins go through 1941. This colorful graphic MacGregor advertising effort with Ben Hogan post-swing on the frontside "cover is a Tri-Fold brochure that is extremely difficult to locate, hence the "rare" designation in the title. It has been preserved to excellent condition as shown in the accompanying lot photos and was likely distributed by authorized MacGregor dealer 'The Sport Mart, INC' in Charleston, West Virginia. This was printed in the infancy of Hogan's career, prior to any "official" major wins and just three years into the Hogan-MacGregor partnership.
