1941 Royal Calcutta Golf Club Ladies Bowl Trophy Won by A. R. Stratton


The Royal Calcutta Golf Club is the oldest golf club outside of Great Britain. It was founded in 1829, and given the Royal title in 1911 after a visit from King George V and Queen Mary. The base and trophy are separated. The plaque on the base reads:

"Royal Calcutta Golf Club
Ladies Bowl
Old Course
1941
Won By
A. R. Stratton
75-6=69"

The trophy stands 9 1/2" tall with base and is approximately 7" wide.
