1941 Masters Tournament Sunday Fourth Rd Ticket #3600 - Top Condition, Free of Creases!
It has long been recognized by the devoted collectors of Masters tickets that there is a real scarcity of 1941 daily tickets that remain, 77 years after the fact, be they for any day of the event. Bobby Jones invitational event contested April 3–6 at Augusta National Golf Club golf was becoming a must attend event for the golfing community. In the tournament Craig Wood claimed his first major title, three strokes ahead of runner-up Byron Nelson. On an equal plateau to this win, are the previously mentioned difficulty in finding tickets from the event much less a Sunday, final round offered here that remains in sparkling condition and ready for display. A high gradable example (FREE FROM THOSE NASTY CREASES WHICH OFTEN PLAGUE PAPER BADGES), with technical deductions only for a couple areas of slight, miniscule paper loss along with the slightest dirt residue. The reverse of ticket also presents in extremely clean condition with only those similar condition nuances which are mentioned only for accuracy. Any '41 Masters badge is a treat to behold, and trust me you will exhaust a lot of time and energy in pursuit of another example this nice. This treasure deserves to be placed in a major collection run of Masters badges, so it can shine among its peers for years to come.
Please note: This auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, April 8th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, there is a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
