Contestants pin is from a 1930's PGA star(Consignor does not wish to release name)who competed at the 1941 Bing Crosby Tournament held at Rancho Santa Fe CC near San Diego. This was the fifth year of the tournament, and marked the third time in the five years that Sam Snead was the champion. Pin has a 1" width and 1 1/4" height. Advanced graphics for the time period are evident on this badge of distinction for players, which features a raised image of a golfer in full swing at the center. Top portion of pin reads "Bing Crosby" in green enamel while bottom in same enamel reads "Golf Tournament".Reverse contains original clasping pin.
