1941 Augusta National Golf Club Tiffany Sterling Silver Cigar Humidor - Rare
Presented here is the only known Augusta National Golf Club humidor that pre-dates WWII, gifted during the often under documented first decade of the hallowed club's existence. Precursor to the current Masters champion's clubhouse trophy starting in 1993, there was a silver bas-relief of the clubhouse (1960-1992), and before (1954-1970) that the winner was given an award that closely resembles the sterling silver Augusta National Golf Club 1941 member box presented to James Gordon Gilfillan's 70th birthday. Crafted by Tiffany & Co., etched signatures of the the pre-WWII members including its co-founders Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts and select players surround the five showing sides of the sterling silver cigar humidor box. It is finished off with the top centering of 'J.G.G.' Open that hinged top to find the meaningful, tongue-in-cheek message from the exclusive club, below its logo, to its valued member. "Commemorating the Seventieth Birthday of James Gordon Gilfillan and the consuming of 70,000th potion of Jimmy Walker Black Label March 20th, 1941.

There are three partitioned wooden compartments for the cigars to be stored inside the humidor.
