1935 Brynwood Sand Tee Box Hole in One Trophy
The Brynwood Country Club was founded in 1926 and
resides in Milwaukee Wisconsin . Today it is known as
The Wisconsin Country Club. This 1925 trophy was awarded to golfer F. W. Greusel for his hole in one on the 142 yard 14th hole. The presumed hole-in-one ball sits on the lid which is also adorned with a golf club. The underside of the lid lists the members of the
Foursome and some of the gallery. The body of the 3 x3 x 4 ½” trophy is a wood grained and lined sand tee box which we believe also served as a cigarette container. Overall a unique and very collectible hole in one trophy from an old Milwaukee golf club which still exists today.
