1932 PGA Championship at Keller Course GC Program - Olin Dutra Winner
Olin Dutra claimed his first Major title at the 1932 PGA Championship at Keller Golf Course. Dutra took down Herman Barron, Ed Dudley, and then finally Frank Walsh in the finals 4 & 3 to claim the title. When it was all said and done Olin Dutra came out on top for five head to head matches over five days. This major win would prove to be his first of a pair, mounting an eight stroke comeback after the second round to win the 1934 US Open over the Squire.
The public Keller Golf Course resides in Maplewood, Minnesota and hosted the PGA Championship again in 1954. The dark blue of the cover's background contrasts nicely with the white text and post swing golfer in time-period clothing. The program is in good condition, with slight surface wear as seen in pictures. A letter of from PGA Historian Bob Denney will accompany this lot.
