1927 John H. Taylor W.A & A.C. Churchman Famous Golfers #41 Card
Here is a vintage cigarette trading card was issued in 1927 by W.A. and A.C. Churchman, a branch of the Imperial Tobacco Company of Great Britain and Ireland. The card is number 41 from the Famous Golfers series, which consisted of 50 cards in total. The front features a sepia-toned photographic image of professional golfer John Henry Taylor in a mid-swing stance. Printed text on the front includes Churchman's Cigarettes at the top and J. H. Taylor at the bottom. The reverse side contains a biographical summary of Taylor's career, highlighting his five Open Championship victories and his performance in 1926. The reverse also displays the series title, card number, and the manufacturer name W.A. and A.C. Churchman. The card is in ungraded condition.
