1926 Golf Game Board With Seth Raynor’s Last Work - Lookout Mountain Golf Course, GA
The Stumpp & Walter Company, who were specialists in golf grasses and equipment, issued as a promotional Item in 1926 an indoor golf game which featured and depicts a game board of the Lookout Mountain Golf Course atop Lookout Mountain Georgia which was designed by Seth Raynor. Lookout Mountain was originally founded as the Fairyland Golf Club in 1925). Per the history of the Club, when Seth Raynor died before the course was completed, this course became in fact Raynor’s last work. The course was ultimately completed by Raynor’s partner Charles “steamshovel” Banks in 1927. Offered here is the golf game board (only) which states “The Golf Course is modeled after the Famous Championship golf course designed by the late Seth J Raynor. It is located in Fairyland, atop Lookout Mountain, Tennessee-Georgia, near Chattanooga Tenn. The location of greens, trees, hazards and the par figures shown are identical with the Fairyland Course. This game board would make a wonderful framed display and provides important supplemental architectural documentation of Raynor’s last course. 21 ½ x 26 ½ inches

Each lot will have its own 30 minute countdown clock during extended bidding. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. Place your initial bids BEFORE 10pm ET to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
