1926 Bobby Jones & Walter Hagen Highland Golf & CC Photo Collage
Predating Bobby Jones' Grand Slam by four years and on the heels of The King's Open Championship and US Open victories, Bobby Jones was joined by Walter Hagen, MacDonald Smith and the Western Open winner of that year for an exhibition at the Highland Golf & Country Club in which the event was staged. The stars were out and the adhered golf ball style blue facsimile copy of the original ticket with the A-listers in black print was produced prior to the Western Open result, with the aforementioned Hagen taking the crown for the third time that year after a runner up finish to Smith in 1925 coincidentally. On this two-sided album page display are program clips of the revered men along with original photos from the camera of patron on foot that day in Indianapolis, Indiana. Thirteen photos are spread across two scrapbook collage sides, the aforementioned and an additional that highlights Walter Hagen and others with the same mixed media display.
