1925 Glen Oak Country Club Monthly Medal Classic Winner V.M. Hermann 10K Gold Medal
This gold medal was awarded to V. M. Hermann for the monthly medal Class C win in 1926.
The Glen Oak Country club in Glen Ellyn Illinois was established in 1911. Tom Bendelow created the original 18 holes which were later revised by Tillinghast in 1935.
Depicted on the front of this medal is a pleasant scene of a bag of golf clubs leaning up against a sand tee box marked “393” (yds) with the Glen Oak Clubhouse in the background.
