1924 The St. Mungo Golf Club Sterling Silver Spoon in Case
This spoon comes in its original fitted case and was finely crafted by the goldsmith and silversmith Robert Scott at 8 Buchanan St. in Glasgow Scotland . It hallmarked for Glasgow in 1924 ( lion, thistle mark , and small letter ‘b”)
The St. Mungo Golf Club is a Scottish Golf Society founded in 1891. In 1895, the club negotiated an arrangement to use the Irvine Golf Club course at Bogside, and this relationship has continued for the last 134 years.
This 5 ¼ “ , approx 18 gram spoon features 3 crossed golf clubs wrapped in a “St. Mungo Golf Club” banner.
