1917 Golfer Magazine by The Golfer's Magazine Company - May Edition
World War I was yet to be resolved, and it was two years prior to US Open play getting back underway. This 1917 Golfer Magazine by The Golfer's Magazine Company from May pictured a canoe in the foreground of a river going through the Shackamaxon CC golf course. Open the cover and interestingly enough is a USGA medal depiction advertised by their US Open (and other championship) medal maker of the time J.E. Caldwell with the US Great seal on it. This is the full issue, with the table of contents pictured in the lot - rich in content.
