1914 Spaldings "Red Cover" Official Golf Guide
Spalding's "official guides" were a yearly publication, exhibiting soft covers with time-period illustration and their finest sporting goods to offer. Issued the year after Ouimet wins the National Open. There is a nice Pietzcker photo of Francis Ouimet within. Contains 287 pages of stories, records, and championships in the US including an extensive article on the 1913 USGA Open Championship. This 1914 edition is uncommon. Condition is poor to fair, as expected.
