1913 MacGregor Perfection Accurate Niblick w/ Oversize Head, Maxwell Drilled Hosel & Shaft Stamp
The Crawford McGregor & Canby Company opened up shop in 1897, becoming one of the initial American club manufacturers. During the 1930's the company was brought under new ownership and renamed Goldsmith - MacGregor, which then was quickly changed to MacGregor. This Maxwell drilled hosel MacGregor uses a dot hyphen face that's Circa 1915-1920. It features a "B4" head stamp, along with "Perfection" and "Accurate" in addition to the hand forged MacGregor head stamp. The club is in good condition, with nicks present on the sole. The club's shaft stamp reads "Made By The Crawford McGregor & Canby Co. Dayton, Ohio." 37" from the top of the grip to the bottom of the heel. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
