1913 Alex. Patrick Golf Club and Ball Maker Business Invoice and Receipt
An original business invoice from Alex. Patrick, a golf club and ball manufacturer based at Linkside Works, Leven, Fife, Scotland. Established in 1847, the firm's letterhead notes they produced the D.J.S., Acme, and Apex club brands, as well as Bull-Dog Spoons. The document is addressed to Mr. James Fraser, Saddler, Dingwall, and is dated July 5. The itemized list includes two left-handed drivers, brassies (including an Apex Driver), mashies, and long range irons. A handwritten note at the base of the list states "Wry neck Putters to follow." The total transaction amount is recorded as 1 pound, 15 shillings, and 8 pence. The reverse of the document features a handwritten receipt in ink that reads "A Patrick / Leven / Paid 1st Nov 1913."
