1912 Bronze Loving Cup For The Yountakah C. C. Womens October Cup
Once a private club in Nutley, New Jersey, Yountakah Country Club is still considered one of the top courses in the state to ever exist according to the New Jersey State Golf Association (NJSGA). It hosted multiple New Jersey State Opens and crowned champion Jim Barnes in 1939. Rather abrutly, like many business decisions had to be, WWII closed Yountakah in 1943. The land was sold and it was just a memory. A surviving artifact from what once was is this 1912 Bronze Loving Cup For The Yountakah C. C. Womens October Cup. Along with the club's story, this trophy exudes excellence and visual appeal with two handles and engraving joined by the elemental tree branch overlay and club emblem in shallow relief.
