1904 Huntingdon Valley Country Club Bronze Golf Award Medal Lester C. Bosler
A circular bronze-toned metal award medal from The Huntingdon Valley Country Club. The obverse features a high-relief central figure of a golfer in period-correct attire, including a flat cap and knickers, shown mid-address over a golf ball. The figure is set against a textured ground representing grass, encircled by a beaded border and the perimeter text THE HUNTINGDON VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB. The reverse features a laurel wreath bordering a central field with engraved text. The engraving reads WON BY LESTER C. BOSLER BEST GROSS SCORE MAY 14 1904 89. The recipient, Lester C. Bosler, was a member and amateur golfer at the club during the early 20th century.
