Turn-of-the-century 1901 'The Nineteenth Holes: Being Tales of the Fair Green' by Van Tassel Sutphen during features gold gilt on the marble boards. Eight illustration plates are included in the contents, many from prized time-period artists including A.B. Frost, and Howard Chandler Christy, along with the frontispiece portrait of author W.G. Van Tassel Sutphen. The binding is loose, yet intact, as depicted in the listing photos. This publication will be a fine addition to a golf library in which is it not included in thus far.
