1896 KGC Competition Result Sheet for Club Silver Medal
From the 19th century is this incredible, handwritten competition result sheet from 'KGC' on August, 10th 1896, obtained from the United Kingdom and likely hailing from there. One can only imagine how much time went into this official results, an early scoreboard. It tells the story of club Silver Medal winner Alex Rae +5 (86+5) for a score of 91. Please note that portion of bottom corner has become separated from rest of document. The early, brittle paper page is displayed carefully on a board backing.
