1896 1St Ed 'Golf In Theory And Practice' By Everard
Presented here is a first edition copy of 1896 'Golf in Theory and Practice: Some Hints to Beginners' Book by H.S.C. Everard. Everard was born in England in 1848 and soon settled in St Andrews, lured by the Old Course. He was a member that found great success in the R&A competitions, earning the silver medal in three different club tournaments from 1888 until 1891. The golf writer wrote this book, along with others including 'The History of the Royal and Ancient Club of St. Andrews' in 1907. This book is in fair to good condition with overall wear, nearly 130 years old. Please refer to pictures for an additional condition report.
