Weller Dickensware Vase - Female Golfer - 10" Tall
Here we have an highly desired Weller vase. Weller Pottery started making utility wares like jugs and jars in 1872 in Fultonham, Ohio. In 1889, to keep up with demand and competition, they started producing decorative art pottery. Charles Upjohn designed the Dickensware line, in tribute to the characters of Charles Dickens, from 1895 til 1904. It measures approximately 10" tall with a base diameter of 4 1/2" and features a female golfer mid-swing in stunning bright colors.
The Golf Auction will be on site this Tuesday through Sunday (July 31st - August 4th) at the 2019 National Sports Collectors Convention in Rosemont, Il. We will be accepting consignments, performing appraisals, and accepting bids. Stop by and say hello! We will be in Booth #1018
