Spalding Red Dot Dimple Golf Ball - Larger Recessed Dimples - Bobby Jones Played This Type
The Spalding Red Dot golf ball with the large recessed dimples was Bobby Jones' preferred golf ball. Bobby Jones had a good working relationship with Spalding, even after his retirement. At the turn of the 20th Century, golf had stirred mild interest in the United States, and A.G. Spalding & Brothers sporting goods saw an opportunity. The company was already selling golf balls when, in 1905, it became the first in America to offer its own brand of golf clubs. Spalding continues to be a force in the sporting goods world, this ball will add nicely to any collection.
