Original Ben Hogan 'Grand Slam' Oil Painting By Artist Robert Fletcher - Framed
Ben Hogan had one of the finest golf years of all time in 1953, when he won each major championship that he entered in The Masters, US Open and Open Championship. It led to his career grand slam. This offering includes a pencil montage of Hogan's four major trophies/ awards (the masters medal) and poses of The Hawk including a depiction of his face close up. Fletcher signed this original with his signature in the bottom right corner. 31" x 27"
Renown golf industry artist Robert Fletcher has dedicated nearly 40 years to refining his craft in the fine arts. His works are exhibited on the historic grounds of Cherry Hills and Colorado Golf Club in bronze busts, prior to participating as a lead artist in the recent Golf Heritage Society Meeting art workshop. Robert has a unique style, with a mix of realism and shadowing resulting in an almost a mythic result.
