An exquisite result of the championship partnership of two leaders in their respective fields, Tiger Woods hand signed this Upper Deck Authentication 2005 Open Championship at St Andrews Claret Jug presentation collage with jet black sharpie and his sit-down signature added with ideal placement. Tiger Woods won two of his three Open Championships at St Andrews Old Course in the years 2000 and 2005, his first of two Open Championships in a row. It would represent the passing of the torch in each of the majors from Jack Nicklaus to Tiger Woods. Nicklaus would announce his final round of competition and Tiger Woods would win the tournament. This happened at the 2000 PGA Championship (they actually played together), 2000 US Open, 2005 Masters Tournament and represented in this lot - the 2005 Open Championship at St Andrews. The historical edition of the oldest major was the first of Woods' back-to-back Champion Golfer of the Year performances.
