Original Gary Player Grand Slam' Oil On Linen Painting By Artist Robert Fletcher

Capturing a young Gary Player's likeness, while emphasizing the first international Masters champion's greatness with carefully placed hardware from his major triumphs, artist Robert Fletcher painted this as part of his exceedingly popular 'Grand Slam' line of original masterpieces. Attention to detail is part of extremely skilled artist Robert Fletcher's m.o., so it should be no surprise that he painted the correct style Masters trophy with the Clubhouse on Plaque as Player received in 1961.

Renown golf industry artist Robert Fletcher has dedicated nearly 40 years to refining his craft in the fine arts. His works are exhibited on the historic grounds of Cherry Hills and Colorado Golf Club in bronze busts, prior to participating as a lead artist in a recent Golf Heritage Society Meeting art workshop. His most recent success was work that was used as a tribute to the course architect team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw at the Colorado Golf Club. Robert has a unique style, with a mix of realism and and shadowing resulting in an almost a mythic result.
