1987 'The Legends of Golf' 10th Anniversary Painting
Oil painting measuring a framed 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" was the gift given as a players gift at the 1987 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Tournament. This event was the original event for senior PGA past professional players, and evolved into what was known as the Senior Tour now Champions Tour. The first event in 1978 was held at Onion Creek Country Club in Austin, Texas and ten years later they were still holding this competition at the same Austin course. This gift was presented to Jack Fleck, who was one of the early participants in the event and who would go on to win the Demaret Division of the event (over 70) with partner Tommy Bolt in 1995.
