Hal Sutton's 1980 World Cup Team USA Issued Sterling Silver Cup
The Team USA Issued sterling silver cup gifted to contestant Hal Sutton is proudly presented here from his amateur golf days and World Cup. The Centenary College golfer was an obvious choice to represent his country on the World Cup team, as the amateur was Golf Magazine's College Player of the Year and 1980 North and South Amateur, U.S. Amateur, Western Amateur, Northeast Amateur, to go onto be a Eisenhower Trophy medalist at the tournament. This 3 1/4" diameter; 4" tall cup from Patrick Henry International Sterling is stamped and carries the USGA logo in relief on the front center of this cup above "1980 World Cup Team - Hal Sutton." A signed letter of provenance from Hal Sutton will come with this lot.
