Five (5) Original Photos of 1966 Masters - Nicklaus, Palmer, Sanders, Finsterwald, & Hole #16
From a camera in the gallery of patrons at the 1966 Masters Tournament are these five photos including eventual champion Jack Nicklaus at Hole 3, with his caddy Willie Peterson and playing partner. Signage, caddy outfits and well manicured grounds are on display throughout this grouping of fellow leading golfers of the day Arnold Palmer, Doug Sanders, and Dow Finsterwald. The final photo was captured behind the green at the Par 3 16th Redbud, as the gallery patiently awaited the arrival of additional contestant tee shots. The sharp amateur photography is able to pick up details from yellow button down clad Arnie's ball on the fairway to the leaves on the trees surrounding the 16th. The verso of each photo in this collection carries an ink notation of the subject matter. Each Kodak photo is 3 1/2" x 3 1/2."
