1961 The Walker Cup at The Seattle Golf Club Official Program
A memorable United States team dominated the Walker Cup matches in September 1961 with a margin of victory of 11-1 behind the play of the 21-year old Jack Nicklaus, competing for a final time in the all-amateur event. Jack would turn professional in November of '61. In the 1961 matches, Nicklaus went 2-0 to close out his two career Walker Cup appearances with a perfect 4-0-0 record, with help from Deane Beman as his foursomes partner. A 1961 Walker Cup program is offered here in good condition, with some overall wear.
