1964 Masters Tournament Working Press Badge #135 Issued to Colonel R. Otto Probst
Original 1964 Working Press badge comes in high grade condition free from surface wear and fauxing. Original clasping pin is intact on back. What fun it must have been to interview "The King" after his fourth Masters title was claimed in 1964. These badges are far more scarce to find then the traditional Masters patron plastic admission badges. Otto Probst is credited with being one of the first golf memorabilia collectors in the United States, and a significant contributor to both the PGA and USGA over his lifetime. This piece will come with a signed letter from Historian Bob Denney of the PGA, proclaiming that this item comes from their collection.
