1937 St Paul Open Broadside From Sam Snead's 4th Win - Vibrant Colors

This offering is for pre-World War II advertising in the form of a colorful broadside, with impressive content. The 1937 St Paul Open was the 7th playing of the Minnesota tournament and was Sam Snead's fourth of his eventual 82 career PGA tour wins. The mid-swing golfer depiction on the piece is time-period, as that type of artwork was found on numerous forms of advertising including tournament programs. The broadside itself is 21" by 13," with it being framed to the dimensions of 30" by 20." A letter of from PGA Historian Bob Denney will accompany this lot.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)

2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
