1940 Masters Tournament Sunday 4th Round Pairings Sheet - Jimmy Demaret Winner
Offered here is a seldom seen Sunday pairing sheet from only the 7th Masters Tournament held, referred to back then as the Augusta National Masters Tournament. The sheet has been folded length and width-wise, and the back features some staining, please see photographs. Jimmy Demaret claimed the first of his three Masters titles in 1940, four strokes ahead of Lloyd Mangrum. Mangrum's first round 64 stood as a tournament record for 46 years. Demaret would go on to win the Masters again in 1947 and 1950, the first three-time Masters champion.
