Charles L. Mothersele Special Brassie with Brass Sole Plate
This lot contains a brassie with a brass sole plate. The crown is stamped with the personal marking of Charles L. Mothersele. Mothersele had a love for the game of golf. He was the winner of the 1920 and 1921 Maine Open and held the position of Golf Professional and Superinten dent of Blind Brook Club. Blind Brook Club is a highly elite club that is member owed. It was founded in 1915 by William Hamlin Childs with Seth Raynor as the head course architect.
