1941 US Open Championship at Colonial CC Program - Craig Wood Winner
Craig Wood, with his 1941 US Open triumph on the heels of his 1941 Masters win, became the first player to capture the first two legs of the modern grand slam in the same year (since joined by Hogan, Palmer, Nicklaus, Woods and Spieth). World War II era paper is always desired, as we have here with the program from the 1941 US Open. Both the front and back covers show paper loss and wear, please refer to photographs. Content remains complete and in pleasing condition housed in this tightly bound publication. A hole for many prominent U.S. Open program collections can be filled with the addition of this publication.
Please note: This auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, June 17th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, there is a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
