US Open Venue Flags: Garden City (1902 Auchterlonie) & Minikahda Club (1916 Evans)


Presented here are two flags from former US Open venues.
The Garden City Golf Club hosted the US Open in 1902. Laurie Auchterlonie was the first golfer to record scores under 80 in all four rounds at the US Open, when he defeated Walter Travis and Stewart Gardner.
Minikahda Club hosted the US Open in 1916, where the amateur Chick Evans beat Jock Hutchison by two strokes, setting a new scoring record of 286. these flags are in great condition and will display very nicely.
