Showcased here is a 1929 US Open at Winged Foot Bobby Jones major win ticket PSA/DNA pop 1 in a 'Good 2' grade, with one higher at 3. He did it again! This blue and off-white round USGA Gallery ticket maintains its original string and advertises White Rock Ginger Ale on the verso, once gaining entry to see the great Bobby Jones win in a thriller! A jaw-dropping 23 strokes would be the margin of victory during the Sunday's 36-hole playoff for Bobby Jones and the outmatched Al Espinosa, crowing the golf king Jones at the National Open for the third time. Jones' Playoff rounds of 72 and 69 for a 3-under par would be more than enough that day. The ducat for bidding consideration is rarified air as a piece of Bobby Jones major winning ephemera, from the peak of his career as the darling of the "Golden Age of Sport." This significant hobby entry from the golf ticket category has been PSA/DNA encapsulated for valuation, presentation and preservation of the nearly 100 year old survivor.
