1930 Bobby Jones Grand Slam Etching Print 66/200 Signed By Artist Douglas Mccleod
Produced by the USGA in 1990 for the 60th anniversary of Bobby Jones' Grand Slam is this stunning limited edition etching 66/200. Best described by the accompanying certificate of authenticity, the production process detailed as follows. "The original copper plate etched by W. Douglas Macleod (1892 - 1963) in 1930 to celebrate the Grand Slam, was recently unearthed from an antique shop. These prints have been pressed from this original plate.
This edition is being launched at the Open in St. Andrews to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Grand
Slam by Bobby Jones.
This edition is limited to 200 copies on acid-free conservation paper using light-fast inks.

In order to preserve this magnificent etched plate for posterity it will be presented to the British Golf Museum on condition that no further prints will be pressed from this plate.
