Joe DiMaggio Personal Club with Original Shipping Box
This lot features Joe DiMaggio's personal golf club, including the original box the club was shipped in. The putter is inscribed "14th Italian Invitational 1972" on the face and "24k Gold Plated" and "Canadian Club" on the back. DiMaggio played his entire 13 year career with the Yankees and was an All-Star each year of his career. The 9 time World Series champion was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955. He still holds the record for the longest hitting streak in baseball, 56 games from May 15th through July 16th, 1941.
