Jack Nicklaus Signed 1963 Charity Golf Match at Norwood Hills CC Program
With a true time-period signature in which you can read each letter of his name, Jack Nicklaus adorned this 1963 Charity Golf Match program and scorecard in pencil front and top-center. The match included 1963 tournament champions Jack Nicklaus (Masters) and Billy Capser partnered with club pros Frank Keller of Normandie and Gene Webb of host Norwood Hills. 1963 marked the first Masters Tournament win of six for Nicklaus, giving extra appeal to the printed title on this piece below his name. This tournament took place seven years prior to Billy Casper slipping on his green jacket. The front of the piece is signed by each of the participants: Casper, Keller and Webb as well. There is a crease in the cover, not altering its presentation value. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
