Jack Fleck's 1963 USGA Open Golf Championship Contestant Badge


The 1963 U.S. Open marked the 10th of 13 Opens Jack Fleck would qualify for in his career. Offered here is his contestants badge comprised of metal measuring 1 1/2"x 1 1/2", and bearing his name in the players section on the front of this memento. The reverse of this badge, from the 1961 Championship won by Julius Boros at The Country Club Brookline, MA., still carries it's original pin clasp in working fashion. Back pin carries manufacturers inscription :
