Framed Orig Art 4th Hole Cashen Course@Ballybunion
The original artwork from 1986 of landscape artist K. Frost pays tribute to the fourth hole at Ballybunion's sister 18 holes known as The Cashen Course. A design of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. which opened for play in 1981. Cashen, the Irish links course, is built on what Jones, Sr. called "the finest piece of links-land that I have ever seen, and perhaps the finest piece of links-land in the world". The featured fourth hole depicted in this artwork is a stunning par 4, which looks longer than it is, offers a panoramic view of the estuary on the left, the ocean on the right and the devilish sandhills. The elevated tee and wide fairway make you wish you were one of today's long hitters, and then breaks your heart when you cannot land your ball in the fairway. From the estate of Golf Hall of Famer Robert Trent Jones, Sr. comes this deluxe framed to 28" x 23" artwork which measures 19" x 14".
