Craig Wood Vintage Signed Album Page with Byron Nelson - 1942

Here we have an album page signed by Craig Wood and Byron Nelson with the notation of "Saturday May 16, 1942." Wood passed away in 1968, making his signature difficult to acquire and missing from most collections. Wood was a two time Major winner, in 1941 winning both the Masters and the US Open. Wood also has the dubious distinction of losing all four Major tournaments in extra holes.
Byron Nelson has signed the back of this album page. Nelson was a five time Major winner in his relatively short career in golf. Lord Byron had a record breaking 1945 season in which he won 18 of the 35 PGA Tour events, including 11 straight, and the PGA Championship.
Both signatures appear in ink and would add nicely to any collection.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, January 29th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
