Circa 1930's Barn-Yard Golf 'A Game of Skill' Coin Operated Machine - Works!
Originally charging 1 cent for 5 balls, nearly a century ago This Barn-Yard Golf 'A Game of Skill' entertained all ages of golfers and children alike in a town storefront or local pub. Boasting eye-catching colors, this red and blue painted metal case contains its original front labeling on a green wooden base. Each of the five balls, still present, are flicked with the lever into the metal spiral. Depending on the force put behind the ball, it would then fall into in a hole that would award 100, 75, 50 or 25 points, also presenting the possibility of ending up in a Ruff or Lake. Achieving 'Par' in the game is a perfect 500 score, with 'Good' and 'Fair' catagorizing scores of 350 and 150 respectively. The heavy machine includes its key to open the front and comes in good to very good condition, with some restoration performed. This counter top game works and is reeling to be played and displayed. It measures 17" tall, 9" wide and 7 1/2" deep.
