Ben Hogan Ltd Edition '1953 Hogan Year - Masters, Open, and US Open' #185/2500 Golf Bag
Offered here for bidders is a spectacular commemorative limited edition #185/2500 golf bag. Ben Hogan's 1953 season was incredible. He won 5 of the 6 tournaments he entered, 3 of those 5 being Majors.
In April 1953, Hogan won his second Masters while breaking the scoring record and shooting a 274.
In June 1953, Hogan defeated Sam Snead by 6 strokes to win his 4th US Open.
In July 1953, Ben was successful in winning the British Open in his only attempt.
This remains today the only time these three Majors have been won in the same calendar year.
This golf bag is embroidered with scenes from the three Majors that made up 1953, Hogan's year. The design and craftsmanship leaves nothing to be desired and this is sure to be the shining star in any collection.
