First Edition. Folio. xxvi + 276pp. Full-page frontis. (of William Innes, entitled "To The Society of Golfers at Blackheath," from the portrait by L.F. Abbott) + 2 coloured plates and 2 photogravures, numerous text illustrations. Bound in full red leather, unmarked and bright, corners bumped, edges sl rubbed, gilt emblems, titles and tooling to upper board and spine. All edges gilt, head and tail bands, head and tail of spine rubbed. A good copy. No.339 of the Subscribers' Edition of 900
