'The Boys' Life of Bobby Jones' by O.B. Keeler Book 2002 Printing w/ Dust Jacket

Here is an excellent condition 2002 printing of O.B. Keeler's 1931 book 'The Boys' Life of Bobby Jones. The famed author Oscar Bane Keeler was raised in Georgia and witnessed Bobby Jones' first tournament win at age 14. From then on, Keeler attended every match Jones played, including the 7 Major wins and the 1930 Grand Slam season. The pair traveled over 200,000 miles together, Keeler not only writing about Jones but also acting as his press agent and friend and confidant. Keeler wrote quite a few books with Bobby Jones as the subject, this being one of the most popular. This biography chronicles Jones' life through his incredible Grand Slam year of 1930.
